Early last fall I photographed Chris Peterman from the American Sommelier Association, at the Honey Paw in Portland, Maine. He was hosting a tasting of the Maine Winery Guild, which has 24 members and includes fruit wines to meads and ciders. He was joined by a group of restaurateurs from the Portland area, who tasted, gave their feedback, and discussed the complexity of Maine wines.
